We're a small, family-run outfit of Garhwali guides, trek leaders and local hosts — not a travel corporation. Every itinerary is shaped by 15+ years of walking these trails ourselves.
Every trail we run, we've walked a dozen times over. Every hotel we use, we've stayed in ourselves.
Valley of Flowers India began in 2009 not as a startup — but as a family promise. Our founder, a Dehradun-born trekker, lost his way once on a solo Hemkund climb. A Garhwali shepherd brought him home. That kindness became the origin of everything we do.
Today, the same shepherd's sons and nephews run our ground operations. We've kept the company deliberately small: maximum 12 trekkers per batch, minimum 2 certified guides, and every homestay vetted in person each season.
We don't aggregate listings. We don't resell others' treks. Every package on this site is a trail we personally design, staff and host — from the Govindghat driveway to the valley's final flower bloom.
"We don't sell treks. We share a home."
